Dr. Shira Glazer was born and raised in New Orleans. After completing her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Georgia, she returned to New Orleans to earn her DDS at Louisiana State University Health Science Center.
In addition to offering patient-centric general dental care, her experience with modern root canal therapy techniques allows her to provide a range of endodontic treatment options in the comfort of our office.
Dr Glazer is a member of the ADA, the Lousiana Dental Association and serves as the membership chairperson for the New Orleans Dental Association. She has previously served as co-chair for the Touro Infirmary Gala and is an alumnae of the Rosenblum Healthcare Institute.
Shira and her husband live in the Irish Channel with their son Eli and dog Lola.

Dr. Dov Glazer has been practicing dentist in Uptown New Orleans on the Touro Infirmary Campus since 1981. He feels privileged and honored by the trust that is given to him by his dear patients.
In addition to caring for patients needs, he holds several patents for technology used to enhance the dental office experience including the wireless digital x-ray device. He is an international presenter on topics ranging from Pain Control to Clinical Hypnosis to High Tech Dentistry, and he serves on civic and professional organizations including the ADA, AGD, Alpha Omega and American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Glazer has also produced a series of hypnosis audio programs called “Relaxation Is Just A Breath Away”.
Dov and his wife Margery are proud parents of three wonderful children and five amazing grandchildren.
